Technical Trial Manager

Are you good at handling documents and stakeholders across professions, geography and cultures? Clinical Pharmacology is looking for a Technical Trial Manager to join our GLP-1 Diabetes Clinical Pharmacology department.

 

About the department

The Clinical Pharmacology department is responsible for development projects within GLP-1 and diabetes. We are a department of dedicated and highly engaged colleagues working in a flexible, collaborative, and cross-functional setting.

Clinical Pharmacology plays a key role in the development of new drugs at Novo Nordisk. We work as an integrated part of development and research project teams, being responsible for the clinical pharmacology strategy. We are operationally and scientifically responsible for the planning and execution of Clinical Pharmacology trials. We provide clinical pharmacology expertise to all clinical development phases, Health Authority interactions and regulatory submissions worldwide.

 

The position

As Technical Trial Manager, you will be an essential member of the Trial Management team, supporting the Clinical Pharmacology Scientist in all relevant aspects of trial preparation, trial conduct, document preparation and archiving. You will be responsible for setting-up and maintaining the trial master file and ensuring electronic filing of documents.

 Furthermore, you will be highly involved in outsourcing processes, trial budgets and you will be assisting in updating clinical documents such as protocol and protocol amendments, and be involved in the preparation of monitoring guidelines, laboratory manuals, and enrolment updates. All activities are carried out in close coordination and collaboration with the trial responsible Clinical Pharmacology Scientist. Finally, you will be supporting meeting planning and be collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders worldwide and be point of contact for CRO and laboratories for specific tasks.

Qualifications

  • Master of Science within Life sciences or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the planning and execution of clinical trials is preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong quality mindset
  • Solid IT and planning skills
  • Excellent oral and written language communication skills. Business is conducted using UK English
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
