Your new role
As a Supply Chain Planner in Global Contract Manufacturing (GCM), you will play a central role in ensuring a stable, efficient, and transparent supply chain across global partners. Working closely with Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) and internal stakeholders, you will combine hands-on planning with continuous improvement to ensure products reach patients on time.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing purchase orders, monitoring deliveries, and ensuring material availability aligned with production needs
- Maintaining and optimising inventory levels, including defining safety stocks for critical materials
- Identifying supply risks, analysing constraints, and driving prioritisation to mitigate potential disruptions
- Driving continuous improvements across supply chain processes in close collaboration with internal teams and external partners
In this role, you will act as a key connector across the value chain, ensuring strong coordination between production sites, quality, procurement, and external partners. You will also contribute to maintaining high data quality across systems and support decision-making through structured analysis and clear communication.
Your new department
You will join the Global Contract Manufacturing Drug Substance (GCM DS) Supply Chain team, part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply organisation. To succeed in this role, you have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, or a related field, with 2–4 years of relevant supply chain experience
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes such as planning, sourcing, or logistics within complex organisations
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem solving, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
- Experience working with IT systems such as SAP (e.g. APO, ECC, OMP) and general data handling tools
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English
As a person, you are adaptable, solution-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You demonstrate ownership of your tasks and enjoy collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
