Are you an experienced biostatistician ready to take a leading role in clinical development? At Novo Nordisk, you will apply your statistical expertise across clinical trial activities, helping shape evidence generation and regulatory interactions that ultimately improve patients’ lives.
Your new role
As a Statistical Specialist, you will be recognised as an expert within biostatistics and contribute strategically and operationally across projects within Obesity and Cardiometabolic Health
Your key responsibilities will include:

Providing expert statistical input to the design, analysis and interpretation of clinical trials.

Ensuring high quality and consistency of statistical contributions, including for regulatory submissions and authority interactions.

Providing scientific and strategic input to clinical data explorations to generate insights internally and to publish results externally.

Acting as a scientific sparring partner to cross-functional project teams and senior stakeholders, clearly communicating complex statistical topics.

Contributing to and leading working groups, and mentoring colleagues to strengthen statistical capabilities across the organisation.
Specifically, you will be part of the continued progression of our late-stage development project, CagriSema, which includes regulatory submission activities and post-hoc explorations of clinical data to generate insights and facilitate decision-making.
Your new department
You will join Biostatistics within Clinical Development at Novo Nordisk. We are a global organisation and have Biostatistics colleagues and stakeholders across multiple locations and geographies, hence virtual collaboration is a natural part of our daily work. Your new department consists of statisticians in Aalborg and Søborg. We prioritise being in office with our local colleagues while maintaining individual flexibility.
Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, you are expected to have:

An academic degree in statistics at PhD level or equivalent.

At least 5 years of experience as a statistician within the pharmaceutical industry or a similar regulated environment.

Strong experience with statistical software and the practical application of statistical methodology.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex statistical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
You are independent, proactive, and collaborative, with a focus on value-generation throughout the product development process.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742.600,- to 1.091.600,- DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
