The position 

Your main responsibility will be to contribute to early clinical development within the growing obesity portfolio. You will be part of a cross-functional study team where you will take an active role in evaluating clinical study data and be part of a team of statisticians and programmers developing analysis datasets and creating tables and figures for reporting of the study results.

During the conduct of our clinical studies, you will be interacting with stakeholders from different skill-areas such as data managers, medical doctors, safety surveillance advisers, medical writers and more – collaboration and stakeholder management skills are therefore important. We also expect you to contribute with ideas for new and innovative ways of working.

 

 

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Planning, managing and execution of statistical programming deliverables in clinical study activities within a clinical project
  • Providing input to authority required documents, including submission of high quality robust code and data
  • Contributing to the programming strategy of the project
  • Ensuring that study programming activities are aligned with the project specifications
  • Continuous development of own skills and contributing to the development of Biostatistics

 

Qualifications

The core requirements to succeed in this position are: 

  • MSc, PhD in Natural or Technical Sciences (or equivalent theoretical background – please qualify in application)
  • 3+ years of experience with statistical programming and preferably 1+ year within clinical development or biostatistics
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects as a proactive team member
  • Ability to drive progress autonomously and engage in proactive decision-making 
  • Skilled programmer within R and/or SAS. Python is also a plus

Our Biostatistics organisation consists of more than 400 people with the majority located in Denmark and India, and smaller teams in China, Japan, Spain, UK and US. Our scientific and programming work is primarily performed in-house, thus we offer a wide variety of tasks and challenges and provide a strong scientific community.

 

Biostatistics is part of the larger Data Science organisation. Through data creation, collection, curation, and analysis we provide insights that contribute to the discovery and development of innovative healthcare solutions.
