Are you passionate about patient safety and have a solid understanding of pharmacovigilance (PV) processes? Do you thrive in a global, collaborative environment where your PV expertise can make a significant impact? If so, you could be our new PV Agreements colleague! Join Novo Nordisk and play a key role in shaping and safeguarding patient safety across various partnerships worldwide.

Your new role

As a Senior PV Agreement Professional your main tasks will be to:

  • Lead the establishment and lifecycle management of head quarter (HQ) owned PV Agreements (PVAs) for customer engagement programmes (CEPs) and digital health initiatives. This includes evaluation of PV qualifications of external partners and ongoing oversight activities to ensure compliance.
  • Act as a trusted PV advisor to HQ functions and affiliates globally in relation to CEPs, digital health initiatives and partner management.
  • Ensure compliance with Novo Nordisk procedures, global PV regulations and industry standards, with a strong focus on partner management, safety information handling, inspection readiness and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain an overview of PVAs, CEPs and digital health initiatives for the Pharmacovigilance System Master File (PSMF).
  • Support capability building across the organization, contributing to the development and maintenance of training materials for internal stakeholders and external partners involved in CEPs and digital health initiatives.
  • Be part of optimizing the way we work in the PV Agreements department.

Your new department

We are a small, highly specialized department entrusted with significant responsibilities at Novo Nordisk. Our work focuses on defining and continuously improving the external partner management process, ensuring it remains robust, compliant, and fit for purpose in a complex and evolving environment. We negotiate PV Agreements with external partners and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to secure clear alignment on roles, responsibilities, and agreement obligations.

The department maintains oversight of external partners impacting the Novo Nordisk PV system and plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective integration of acquisitions into the global PV framework. We also provide ongoing support to affiliates, headquarter stakeholders, and external partners on all matters related to PV agreements. In addition to partner management, our scope extends to overseeing PV process aspects related to CEPs (i.e. market research and patient support programmes), digital health initiatives, and social media activities, contributing to patient safety across a broad range of business activities.

Our team is known for its strong collaborative spirit and a commitment to finding win-win solutions with our stakeholders. We value open communication, mutual support, and a positive approach to overcoming challenges together. We are excited about the opportunity to welcome a new colleague who will contribute to our dynamic and supportive environment.

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for a professional who combines strong PV expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills. Ideally, you:

  • Hold a Master’s degree in biomedical or life sciences with 5–7 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 8–11 years of relevant experience, or equivalent knowledge gained through practical experience
  • Bring strong expertise within PV, including solid knowledge of international PV legislation, GVP, GMP and GCP
  • Have solid experience with handling contracts, especially experience with PV agreements would be highly beneficial
  • Are familiar with business processes and IT systems supporting PV, including safety databases and oversight tools.
  • Communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing, and are comfortable working in a global, cross‑functional and highly regulated environment.

On a personal level, you are confident and credible, with the professional authority to advise and influence stakeholders across functions and geographies. You work in a structured and analytical way, balancing attention to detail with the ability to maintain an overall perspective. You communicate clearly and constructively, build strong relationships, and remain flexible and positive while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, global environment.
