Are you ready to shape how Novo Nordisk communicates innovation in Rare Disease? We’re looking for a communications expert to lead strategic initiatives that connect our mission with the people we serve—patients, healthcare professionals, and internal teams—across Rare Disease Hub.
Your new role
As Communications Sr Manager, you will lead impactful communication strategies that bring the Rare Disease SVP’s vision to life and support key product launches. In this role, you will also:
- Develop and implement integrated communication strategies that reflect leadership vision, support product launches, and advance Rare Disease priorities across internal and external platforms.
- Lead the creation and delivery of consistent, timely messaging to effectively engage internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ensure brand alignment by maintaining adherence to Novo Nordisk’s communication standards and supporting strategic market-shaping initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments and external partners to ensure communication efforts are aligned with broader organisational goals.
- Provide strategic counsel to senior leaders, leveraging industry insights to drive innovation and enhance communication impact.

You’ll join the Rare Disease team, a purpose-driven organisation focused on transforming the lives of people living with rare conditions. We work across functions and geographies to bring innovative therapies to market and ensure our communications reflect the impact of our work.
Your skills and qualifications
We are seeking a strategic and collaborative communicator with the confidence to lead initiatives at a senior level. The ideal candidate will bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field (master’s degree preferred)
- 6–8 years of experience in internal and external communications, preferably within a global or healthcare environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex messaging and provide guidance to senior leadership
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration
- Proven expertise in branding, crisis communication, and visual storytelling
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
