What’s in it for you?
The position as Senior IT Solution Architect is anchored in our Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT ) Development area, and you will join a group of Domain and Solution Architects with focus on setting the direction for the domain architecture across the business area. You will be assigned to a key digital initiative, where you will work closely with the implementation leads and teams.Your responsibilities include:

•Developing and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision for the relevant digital initiatives
•Setting direction, building roadmaps, and guiding IT applications, platforms, and data
•Defining and communicating solution architecture to support business strategies in collaboration with implementation and operations teams
•Steering the technical teams in day-to-day requests to get decisions linked to the overall target architecture as well as DD&IT Development technical decisions
•Ensuring alignment with IT governance, processes, and technical strategy
•Anticipating future business needs and ensuring architecture supports new opportunities
•Proactively seeking opportunities for optimizations – e.g., process/system/platform/data flow improvements or alignments and keeping yourself up to date on new technology trends and industry standards
•Working with portfolio stakeholders as well as Line of Business and suppliers to align the architectural direction with the solution intent

Candidate Profile
We prefer you have a master’s degree within Computer Science, Engineering, IT or similar and you can tick off most of the following:

•Experience with integrating cloud-based pharma SaaS solutions
•Extensive experience in cloud (Azure and AWS), Databricks, data engineering, and modern integration patterns (APIs, streaming)
•Experience as an IT Architect, and you have knowledge about working in an agile setup
•7+ years of experience within modern IT infrastructure and integrations incl. CI/CD
•Experience from the pharmaceutical industry preferably within clinical development
•Aptitude for identifying complex IT challenges and devising innovative solutions that drive operational improvements and business growth

You also have strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including suppliers and partners, ensuring solutions meet the diverse needs of the organization. You effortlessly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making and fostering a shared understanding of solution initiatives at all relevant levels – both deep technically and at the business decision level.
