The Position 
As a Senior Data Management & AI Lead, you will:

• Manage the EUCAN Data Foundation and ensure successful operation of the Common Data Platform (CDP).
• Lead data product delivery for Regional Medical & Marketing and Corporate Affairs de-partments covering data domains for customer engagement and competitive intelli-gence.
• Ensure the CDP Data Foundation Platform supports analytics at scale with trusted data products.
• Coach and guide stakeholders in adopting CDP and translating insights into tech-nical requirements.
• Lead an Agile Delivery team, ensuring adherence to Ways of Working for trusted data products.
• Build and maintain a Data Product Roadmap for analytics and insights at scale.
• Collaborate with global and regional product teams to drive harmonisation and best practices.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a highly experienced and technically strong professional with the fol-lowing skills:
• Bachelor’s  degree in STEM, quantitative economics, computer science, data sci-ence, or related field 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data management and analytics, ideally within consultancy or industry; life sciences/pharma is an advantage
• Proven track record as a Product Owner leading data & analytics delivery teams, especially in the commercial space (e.g. marketing and sales)
• At least 3 years of leadership experience with cross-functional and international teams
• Experience with Data Governance in mid-to-large international organisations
• Academic background or professional training in pharma or life sciences (e.g. SAFe PO/PM certification) is a nice to have but not required.

You possess strong business acumen and a strategic mindset, enabling you to drive alignment and influence change across senior levels. Your analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are exceptional, and you bring a high level of data literacy to every conversation. You are confident in delegating, coaching, and giving constructive feedback, and you know how to motivate and empower others to succeed.

The Commercial Data & AI Strategy team is on an ambitious journey to drive value through data and AI in Novo Nordisk’s commercial operations.
