We are looking for a Senior Clinical Data Manager to join our team on an 18-months temporary assignment and contribute to the execution of complex clinical pharmacology trials that support the development of new treatments for people living with serious chronic diseases.

 

The Position

As Senior Clinical Data Manager, you will be accountable for planning, coordinating, and delivering data management activities across one or more clinical trials within Clinical Pharmacology. You will play a key role in ensuring data quality, integrity, and timely delivery of clinical trial data throughout the study lifecycle.

Working closely with cross-functional colleagues, vendors, and global stakeholders, you will act as the Data Management lead for assigned trials and serve as a key point of contact for data-related decision making.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading Data Management activities from study start-up through database lock and submission readiness.
  • Driving planning, execution, and delivery of Data Management trial deliverables.
  • Defining and overseeing data collection strategies, standards, and quality plans.
  • Managing risks, issues, and dependencies related to trial data.
  • Collaborating with Clinical Pharmacology colleagues, statisticians, programmers, study teams, and external partners.
  • Ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and Novo Nordisk processes.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and the implementation of innovative ways of working.
  • Supporting inspection and audit readiness activities.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence both trial execution and future Data Management practices through your expertise and proactive approach.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree (BSc, MSc, or equivalent) in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • More than three years of experience within Clinical Data Management in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry.
  • Solid understanding of clinical trial processes, clinical data flow, and regulatory requirements including ICH-GCP.
  • Experience leading Data Management activities for complex clinical trials.
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and international environments.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

About the Department

You will join the Clinical Data Management team within Clinical Pharmacology, a global organization responsible for delivering high-quality clinical data that enable informed decision making throughout drug development.

The department consists of highly skilled Clinical Data Managers as well as Clinical Data Scientists who work closely with scientists, clinicians, statisticians, programmers, and external partners across the globe. Salary:  For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 651,000.00 to 956,900.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
