Your new role 

As a Safety Data Specialist, you will join Safety Data, Digital & Technology (SDDT), where we ensure that critical safety data is reliable, accessible and fit for purpose. Working at the intersection of pharmacovigilance, safety case management, aggregated data and digital solutions, you will collaborate with subject matter experts, application developers and key stakeholders across Global Patient Safety. 

In this role, you will help strengthen data quality, inspection readiness and the effective use of safety data across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include: 

• Applying your pharmacovigilance expertise and knowledge of safety data to shape data extracts and business intelligence solutions together with application developers. 

• Planning and coordinating safety data extracts for Health Authority inspection pre-requests in collaboration with relevant business domain specialists. 

• Acting as a trusted colleague who coaches, guides and shares knowledge, helping to build capability across the organisation. 

• Supporting  hypercare activities following system implementations and releases, ensuring successful adoption of new ways of working. 

• Driving knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen processes, improve efficiency and support consistent use of safety data across Global Patient Safety.

Your new department 

You will become part of PV Technology Management, one of three functional areas within Safety Data, Digital & Technology (SDDT) in Global Patient Safety. 

Our team operates where pharmacovigilance regulation, data, processes, and technology come together.  Working alongside colleagues from both business and technology functions, you will help shape and improve how safety data is used across Global Patient Safety. 

The department provides broad exposure across the organisation and offers the opportunity to influence future ways of working through collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement. 

Your skills and qualifications 

We are looking for a proactive and curious professional who enjoys working with both people and data. You thrive in collaborative environments, take ownership of your work and are motivated by solving complex challenges while supporting colleagues and stakeholders. 

To succeed in this role, you should have: 

• A Master’s degree in Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Health Sciences or a related discipline. 

• At least 7-8 years of experience within pharmacovigilance, drug safety or a closely related area. 

• Strong knowledge of safety data requirements and regulations, including practical experience with standards such as E2B(R3), and a broad understanding of end-to-end pharmacovigilance regulatory requirements. 

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to engage effectively across organisational levels. 

• Strong analytical capabilities combined with a flexible and change-oriented mindset, allowing you to work independently while managing multiple priorities. 
• Experience working with safety data extracts, inspections, digital solutions or system implementations within pharmacovigilance will be considered an advantage.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600 to 1,091,600 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
