The position
As a Reference Material Professional at Novo Nordisk, you will play a key role in the implementation, resupply, and maintenance of reference materials for our diverse product portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and review documentation such as various reports and protocols, including monitor and trend of reference material stability studies.
- Coordinating the establishment and maintenance of reference materials and support to internal users of Reference Materials across Novo Nordisk.
- Collaborating with development and manufacturing sites on the transfer of reference materials to full scale market as well as implementing changes to our processes.
- Working closely with colleagues, scientists, technicians, and statisticians and interacting with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk, including production, regulatory, QA, and QC.

The team today consists of 9 employees where we are looking for a Maternity cover for 18 months.
Qualifications
- Preferably, you hold a M.Sc. within pharmaceutical science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biophysics, or another relevant scientific field.
- You might have experience working with stability, analytical development or within QC.
- You are comfortable with seeking for optimization opportunities and communicating with stakeholders within an organization.

About the department
New Product introduction (NPI) is a part of Aseptic Manufacture Science and Technology (AMSAT), and consists of approximately 90 employees divided between 4 departments located currently in Søborg, DK. The main responsibility of NPI is the transition of development products into large scale production. This includes process design, material and process sciences, product stability, and coordination of production for late-phase clinical trials.
In the role as Reference Material Professional, you become part of the NPI Reference Materials Team. Together you will ensure that a constant stock of high-quality reference material is available to ensure analysis and release of Novo Nordisk products.
