We are looking for a Quality Specialist to support the continuous improvement of the global pharmacovigilance system framework and help ensure quality oversight of the future governance setup within Global Patient Safety (GPS) in Novo Nordisk.
Your new role
The Global Patient Safety Quality Specialist position is anchored in Non-Clinical Quality, which is part of Research & Development (R&D) Quality in Søborg, Denmark. In this role, you will support the GPS organization across a broad range of quality activities and contribute to maintaining the right level of quality and compliance throughout the organization.
As a Quality Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

Providing quality and compliance expertise for GPS processes, including the global pharmacovigilance system

Leading and managing quality projects and initiatives in Research & Development to ensure the appropriate level of compliance

Acting as QA for deviations, change requests, SOPs, inspections and audits

Overseeing quality compliance within the area

Reviewing and approving documentation and records regulated by health authority requirements
You will become part of a dynamic area where the role offers significant impact. You will be expected to take ownership and contribute to setting the right quality standards across the global organization.
Your new department
Non-Clinical Quality is one of two sister departments within Process Management, Non-Clinical, IT & AI Quality, which is part of R&D Quality in Novo Nordisk. We are a diverse quality department consisting of 17 highly skilled employees who support a large global organization through close stakeholder collaboration.
In Non-Clinical Quality, we provide Quality Management System expertise to our stakeholders and play a vital role in ensuring fit-for-purpose processes throughout the value chain.
As we actively contribute to cross-organizational improvement projects and provide quality and compliance support across the organization, we are on an exciting journey to place quality at the forefront of the agenda for the benefit of our patients.
Your skills and qualifications
As a person, you approach problem-solving with a positive and practical mindset and continuously look for opportunities to optimize and simplify processes. You are proactive, courageous and collaborative, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
To succeed in this role, you should have:

A Master's degree in Life Sciences (e.g. Pharmacy, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine or Biology); a PhD and/or specialist clinical experience is considered an advantage

A minimum of 6 years of experience within quality assurance or quality management processes

Solid experience within drug safety, pharmacovigilance, drug development processes, global regulatory requirements and GxP standards

Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, and translate complexity into clear recommendations

A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

Proficiency in both written and spoken English
In addition, you possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail while maintaining a broader business perspective. You are driven by quality, motivated by continuous learning and comfortable working both independently and across functions in an international environment.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600 to 1,091,600 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
