Category:  Project Management & Agile
Location:

Søborg, Capital Region of Denmark, DK

Are you excited by the opportunity to work in an independent unit within Novo Nordisk, where innovation will be at the center of everything we do? Are you passionate about building a new and innovative scientific and business organization that delivers impactful solutions for predicting and preventing obesity and its consequences through partnerships?

If yes, then you might be the new Project Manager that we are looking for.

The position
As the Project Manager within the Transformational Prevention Unit (TPU), you will facilitate a range of short and long-term strategy projects to support the advancement of the TPU towards our vision. You will collaborate closely with the team of interdisciplinary experts to facilitate development of strategy, plan and track budgets to ensure investments are aligned with strategic priorities, and project manage execution of internal and external events.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

  • Execution of strategy development processes and team goal-setting.
  • Project management of sprints on key strategic and innovative projects.
  • Using data-driven frameworks to make decisions to guide strategic choices on budget allocation and resource planning.
  • Offsite planning, team guiding activities, and tracking progress towards team goals.
  • Guiding activities regarding strategy, workstreams, and new ways of working.

You will report directly to the VP and Deputy Head of the TPU, becoming an essential member of the TPU team. Your primary work location will be in Søborg, Denmark, and the role may involve occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in Business or Science, and project management experience in a scientific (pharma or life science) setting.
  • Solid project management toolbox to ensure progress in a complex stakeholder landscape.
  • Experience planning and facilitating workshops with interdisciplinary teams to analyse and solve problems.
  • A high degree of planning and multi-tasking abilities to operate in a complex and fast-changing environment together with facilitating skills.
  • We are looking for a team member with great interpersonal skills, coupled with drive and dedication.

Collaboration is natural to you, as you seamlessly work with others to achieve shared objectives. Your results-oriented approach focuses on what truly matters, emphasizing outcomes over processes. Innovation drives you to explore new ways for improvement, and you take the initiative in suggesting solutions and enhancements.

About the Department
Imagine a future where people can be screened to determine if they are at risk of developing obesity and know exactly when – and how – to intervene to prevent it. Novo Nordisk aims to contribute to addressing the obesity pandemic. That is why we have established Transformational Prevention Unit (TPU)— making the first instance within Novo Nordisk of a prevention unit spanning both Commercial and R&D functions.
