The position
As a Project Coordinator, you will support our Project Managers in preparing presentations and materials for project reviews and meetings. This role involves project coordination and administration, including planning, organizing, and controlling resources and processes to achieve objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints, all while supporting the establishment of GCM standards in the project.

Additionally, you may substitute the Project Manager in facilitating regular project status updates and reporting to stakeholders.

Your key activities include:

  • Assisting in the planning, organizing, and controlling of resources and processes to achieve project objectives
  • Coordinating project activities, including scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, tracking progress, and ensuring deliverables are met
  • Assisting in the management of project risks and issues, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to mitigate them
  • Coordinating and facilitating project meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting meeting minutes, and tracking action items
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with project stakeholders

Your role also involves generating regular project reports, including status updates, progress summaries, and key performance indicators, along with creating and maintaining project documentation, ensuring it is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.

 

Qualifications
To thrive in this role, we imagine you:

  • Hold a master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline
  • Bring a minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination or project management
  • Demonstrate a structured approach to your work, alongside a curious and energetic personality
  • Showcase strong communication and stakeholders management skills
  • Display proficiency in both spoken and written English

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools would be considered an advantage. 

On a personal level, you apply a systematic and analytical approach to your tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and work maintains high quality. You are motivated by curiosity and solving complex problems, effectively communicating and connecting with colleagues and stakeholders in a dynamic, international environment. You are supportive, service-minded, and well-organized, with the ability to apply and encourage a “One Team” approach. Lastly, you are proactive, collaborative, and bring a curious mindset, even in ambiguous situations.

 

About the Department
The GCM DP Projects department at Novo Nordisk is dedicated to managing and overseeing external manufacturing projects. Our team is responsible for ensuring that our contract manufacturing partners meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance. 

We work closely with various stakeholders to drive project success and support Novo Nordisk's mission to improve the lives of patients worldwide. Our department is known for its collaborative and dynamic work environment, where innovation and continuous improvement are highly valued.
