Principal Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Lead to build and lead the program to define Novo Nordisk’ future customer engagement ecosystem globally excluding US. Changes in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) vendor landscape has triggered the opportunity for Novo Nordisk to rethink business capabilities and put us on a path to replace the ecosystem we use for engaging with our customers outside of the US.

The position
The successful candidate will partner with the commercial LoB and lead the program to define, decide and prepare for the implementation of our next customer engagement ecosystem by 2027-2028. You will build and lead the program to comprehensively analyze and establish cross-organizational alignment about our need for customer engagement capabilities for the future and identify the best option for the next solution for Novo Nordisk by end of 2025. In 2026 onwards, the piloting and implementation of the future customer engagement solution begins, with the mission to replace our existing solution before it sunsets in 2029.
As Program Lead your key responsibilities will be:
- Design and build the program organization.
- Support your leadership in establishing the right governance for the program.
- Drive an effective program to reach a conclusion on the right decision for the future customer engagement solution with cross-organizational buy-in by end of 2025.
- Budgetary accountability.
Qualifications
We expect the ideal candidate to have most of the following qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Broad knowledge of commercial processes in pharma.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in commercial IT and customer engagement technology.
- Proven track record of successful program management.
- Experience working in and navigating large and complex organisations.
- You are ambitious about your role and career and interested in growing your skills.
About the department
You will report to the Director of HCP Engagement within the Customer Engagement Solutions organization in the global DD&IT unit based in Søborg, Denmark.
