Your new role
In this role, you will take strategic ownership of how PV obligations are defined, interpreted and applied across digital health initiatives at Novo Nordisk. As a recognised subject matter expert, you will guide the business through complex regulatory landscapes while enabling compliant and responsible innovation across head quarter (HQ), affiliates and external partnerships.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- End‑to‑end accountability for establishing, maintaining and continuously optimising PV processes related to digital health initiatives, ensuring alignment with global regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
- Acting as the primary subject matter expert and trusted advisor to stakeholders in HQ and in affiliates, providing guidance on PV obligations for internally and externally owned digital health initiatives, including evaluation of external partners’ PV qualifications.
- Leading the development, negotiation and maintenance of PV Agreements (PVAs) for HQ‑owned digital engagement programmes, ensuring clear, compliant and fit‑for‑purpose contractual frameworks.
- Collaborating closely with other department subject matter experts to define, align and guide the business on PV obligations across different customer engagement models, ensuring consistency and clarity across initiatives.
- Providing expert interpretation and advisory support on PV and DV regulatory requirements and guidelines, enabling informed decision‑making and compliant execution across Novo Nordisk.
Your new department
We are a small, highly specialised department entrusted with significant responsibilities at Novo Nordisk. Our work focuses on defining and continuously improving the external partner management process, ensuring it remains robust, compliant, and fit for purpose in a complex and evolving environment. We negotiate PV Agreements with external partners and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to secure clear alignment on roles, responsibilities, and agreement obligations.
The department maintains oversight of external partners impacting the Novo Nordisk PV system and plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective integration of acquisitions into the global PV framework. We also provide ongoing support to affiliates, headquarter stakeholders, and external partners on all matters related to PV agreements. In addition to partner management, our scope extends to overseeing PV process aspects related to CEPs (i.e. market research and patient support programmes), digital health initiatives, and social media activities, contributing to patient safety across a broad range of business activities.

Your skills and qualifications
- You hold a Master’s degree in Life Sciences and have 8+ years of relevant experience, underpinned by strong, hands‑on expertise in pharmacovigilance.
- You bring extensive knowledge of international PV legislation, including GVP, GMP, and GCP, and have experience across multiple PV roles.
- You have a proven track record of providing robust PV guidance in diverse stakeholder and customer engagement settings, such as digital health initiatives, market research programmes, and early/expanded access programmes.
- You have solid experience in establishing and maintaining PV agreements and in managing external partners, including the assessment of their PV qualifications and capabilities.
- You are familiar with key PV business processes, safety systems, and relevant IT tools, and understand the broader pharmaceutical industry and Novo Nordisk business context.
- You communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken, and are comfortable working in global, cross‑functional environments.

You combine strong analytical skills with sound judgement, communicate with authority and clarity, and thrive in a dynamic environment where you balance strategic oversight with hands‑on execution.

Salary and Benefits: The Annual Base Salary ranges from 847,000.00 to 1,245,100.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short‑term and/or long‑term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
