Your New Role

 

We are seeking a talented postdoctoral researcher to join the BRIDGE project, an initiative supported by the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI). BRIDGE brings together over 28 public and private partners across Europe working collaboratively to develop comprehensive policy recommendations to embed sandbox approaches into the European regulatory ecosystem in a sustainable manner. Regulatory sandboxes are temporary, structured environments where regulators, innovators, clinicians, patients, and citizens collaborate to assess and govern emerging health technologies, supporting their safe and efficient development and assessment.

 

 

This position is offered for a period of two years.

 

 

You will be based at Novo Nordisk Headquarters in Søborg and will join our Public-Private Partnership team. Your daily activities will be in close collaboration with the Global Regulatory Policy Department. Some travel to attend meetings in the European network is expected.

 

Candidates located abroad are welcome to apply, but we do not provide relocation support. Applicants must be prepared to arrange and cover their own relocation to Denmark.

Key Responsibilities

 

As a BRIDGE postdoc, you are highly motivated to participate in the project work groups, to be mentored by senior colleagues, network and collaborate with the BRIDGE partners. As part of this project, you will:

 

  • Define the content and the structure, collect and analyse data, draft and execute on position papers, surveys, communication and training pieces in workgroups in collaboration with industry, academic, regulatory partners.
  • Establish and drive engagement in an internal network of Novo Nordisk stakeholders and leverage synergies between projects and stakeholders.
  • Support other workgroups on collecting case studies, reviewing and providing feedback on outputs.
  • Lead engagement, coordination, and dissemination activities with both internal and external stakeholders.

 

Your Skills and Qualifications

 

We expect you to be scientifically independent and solution-oriented, showing a high degree of academic maturity. This means that you will have:

 

  • A PhD in a relevant discipline.
  • An enthusiastic interest in conducting the assigned tasks in the project in collaboration with with colleagues and the project community.
  • A strong CV, having published peer reviewed original manuscripts in high-quality journals with minimum one first author paper and presented at international conferences.
  • The ability to oversee high-quality deliverables, effectively manage timelines, and provide reports on project activities and time management.
  • Experience with project management, organizing meetings, and following up with minutes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with clear communication.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken (company language).
  • Experience with regulatory dossiers, either from industry or regulators is an advantage.
