The position
We are seeking a talented postdoc to work with a major Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) supported project called CarePath. CarePath unites more than 40 public and private partners from across Europe with the goal to identify and test innovative digital interventions that will improve treatment persistence for people living with chronic diseases such as obesity, type 2 diabetes and/or cardiovascular diseases.
The position is of two years duration with ideal start date 1st April 2026.
You will primarily be located with the Public-Private Partnership Team at the Novo Nordisk Headquarter site in Søborg, however, as you will be collaborating closely with other parts of the organisation, you may partly be situated with relevant teams across Novo Nordisk sites in Denmark, including our regional office in Ørestaden, Greater Copenhagen Area. Research is being conducted across Europe, thus some travel to research sites can be expected.
You will be involved in several tasks related to the CarePath research project, including:
- Design, develop and refine digital health tools, including content strategy and content creation
- Develop, validate and implement computational models to predict and improve medication adherence
- Collaborate with Novo Nordisk Digital Health teams to identify, evaluate and integrate relevant interventions
- Collect, manage and analyze patient data in accordance with applicable privacy and compliance standards
- Design, deploy and optimize questionnaires and patient-reported outcome measures
- Advance early-stage innovations and mature research initiatives through rigorous development pathways
- Plan and conduct validation studies and scale successful interventions across pilot sites
- Lead stakeholder engagement, coordination and dissemination activities with internal and external partners
- Author scientific reports, manuscripts and other publications for peer‑reviewed journals and conferences
- Establish and maintain strategic stakeholder relationships to support project goals
Skills & Qualifications
- PhD in relevant discipline for ex-ample Medicine, Public Health or other Life Science disciplines.
- Experience from working with the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of healthcare systems, behavioural science, and medication adherence
- Experience with Health Technology and economic evaluations
- Background in clinical research
- Familiarity with developing and maturing research programs
- Scientific writing and publishing
- Excellent communication skills
- Well-organized, work independent and outgoing with a strong personal drive and dedication.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
