Your new role

As a Pharmacovigilance (PV) Professional in the PV Agreements department your main tasks will be to:

  • Provide support and expert advice to internal and external stakeholders in relation to partner management and Safety Data Exchange Agreements (SDEAs)
  • Negotiate, establish, and maintain global PV agreements with external partners
  • Maintain an overview of contracts and agreements for the Pharmacovigilance System Master File (PSMF)
  • Be part of optimizing the way we work in the PV Agreements department
  • Ensure inspection and audit readiness within your area of responsibility
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the global Novo Nordisk organisation, including affiliates, regulatory affairs, legal, and quality departments.

 

Your new department

We are a small, highly specialised department entrusted with significant responsibilities at Novo Nordisk. Our work focuses on defining and continuously improving the external partner management process, ensuring it remains robust, compliant, and fit for purpose in a complex and evolving environment. We negotiate PV Agreements with external partners and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to secure clear alignment on roles, responsibilities, and agreement obligations. The department maintains comprehensive oversight of external partners that impact the Novo Nordisk PV system and plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective integration of acquisitions into the global PV framework. We also provide ongoing support to affiliates, headquarter stakeholders, and external partners on all matters related to PV agreements. In addition to partner management, our scope extends to overseeing PV process aspects related to market research, patient support programmes, digital health initiatives, and social media activities, contributing to patient safety across a broad range of business activities.

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree preferably within biomedical/ life sciences
  • Solid knowledge of pharmacovigilance legislation (primarily EU) and processes
  • Experience with handling contracts, especially pharmacovigilance agreements, would be highly beneficial
  • Substantial knowledge and understanding of GxP concepts (GVP, GCP, GDocP, GMP) within the Pharma industry.
  • Excellent written and spoken English

You bring strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You are highly structured, analytical, and quality-focused, with a strong sense of planning, coordination, and timeliness. You are comfortable handling complex tasks and working against tight deadlines.
