Personal Assistant to SVP of Global Trial Portfolio

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to support our Senior Vice President (SVP) and management team in the Global Trial Portfolio (GTP). As a PA/SVP Assistant, you will provide independent administrative support, coordinate cross-functional activities, manage the SVP's calendar and travel arrangements, and act as an ambassador for the SVP area.

 

Your responsibilities will include communication, budget, supporting meetings, note taking and events planning.

 

The position

As PA/SVP Assistant, you will act as an ambassador for the SVP and the SVP area, providing independent administrative support to the SVP and management team.

 

You will coordinate cross-functional activities and collaborate with stakeholders on annual processes. It will also be your task to ensure optimal cross-functional administrative team collaboration and plan and execute SVP reorganizations and manage the SVP's calendar and travel arrangements.

 

Your responsibilities will also include: 

  • Maintain and update the SVP area website and communication platforms.
  • Support the SVP management team with meetings, events, and seminars.
  • Take decisions on behalf of the SVP and act as a proxy/delegate for relevant IT systems.
  • Drive the line of business budget process and contribute to organizational development processes.
  • Coordinate onboarding for new senior managers and support with guidance in day-to-day tasks.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Excellent English skills, both orally and written

About the department

The position as an PA is based in the Global Trial Portfolio SVP area. The vision for this area is to drive operational excellence and innovation in the execution of our clinical development activities. The Novo Nordisk approach to clinical development has long been a competitive advantage. Taking offset in this position of strength, with this new area we are seeking to strengthen our operations by focusing on timely, cost-efficient, best-in-class clinical trial planning and execution in collaboration with CMR.

The Global Trial Portfolio organization will be comprised of four main CVP areas and an executive Office/Strategic Development function. All areas will be collaborating closely with colleagues across the CMR organisation and within Development, to progress the clinical trial portfolio.
