The Position
As Personal Assistant to the CVP, you will oversee a broad spectrum of administrative, financial, communication and HR-related tasks. You will serve as an informal leader for the Biometrics Diabetes & Obesity team of assistants, ensuring efficient and seamless support for the area's operations, and you will report directly to the CVP and be part of the Biometrics Diabetes & Obesity Leadership Team (LT). You will also join the Data Science LT PA team, as well as the DS Admin team.
Your main responsibilities will be focused on:
• Acting as a sparring partner to the CVP, ensuring effective business processes and execution of management meetings, including documentation of meetings
• Ensuring calendar management and planning of area meeting and events
• Preparing and overseeing the area budgets in close collaboration with the CVP, Finance partners, and PAs from the functional areas
• Acting as a liaison between the CVP and stakeholders
• Assisting in the coordination of global collaborations and initiatives
• Handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following:
• Proven experience as a personal assistant, preferably working the senior leaders at executive management level
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, adept at fostering relationships with stakeholders across all organisational levels
• Proficient Microsoft Office user, experience within SAP and Power BI
• High level of discretion and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

About the Department
In Biometrics - Diabetes & Obesity, we are responsible for the data management and statistical analysis of the planning and execution of clinical development programs in the Diabetes and Obesity therapy areas.
We drive scientific and project excellence by providing state-of-art statistical, clinical data science, and data management expertise, ensuring strategic and scientific input, and delivering timely and high-quality biometrics contributions to the design, interpretation, and communication of clinical trials.
