The position

As OCM Professional, you will play a key role in the project eSite Collaboration, which aims to streamline and revolutionise the way we collaborate with the investigative sites participating in our clinical studies from hospitals and clinics around the world. Additionally, ensure a strong OCM focus, being the voice of our end users and implementing support, communication, and training that enables them to adopt the eSite solution features.

 

You will act as an expert and be part of an Agile Product Development Team to effectively secure the end user perspective and needs for future effective and GCP-compliant site collaboration.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to evaluate and balance how to implement, support, and enable the fulfilment of current business needs, while at the same time contributing to the fulfilment of our longer-term digital enablement strategy. Furthermore, have an impact on realising the full potential of the eSite Collaboration capabilities for our sites as well as our clinical study management, in a collaboration that spans across other IT systems supporting for example electronic Investigator Site file (eISF) electronic source systems, electronic site delegation logs. Many internal and external stakeholders will rely on your business understanding and your ability to combine business needs with technology enablers and platforms.

 

Your key activities will be to:

  • Develop and drive OCM strategy, vision, plan, and toolbox for the eSite Collaboration project; and define and drive operational roll-out, support, and communication to end-users
  • Develop and execute change management strategies, plans, and tactics that support the organization's goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that all changes are communicated effectively and that everyone is informed about the changes taking place
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management initiatives and adjust plans as necessary
  • Develop and deliver training programs to support the adoption of new processes and systems, at the same time you foster a culture of continuous improvement, and promote the adoption of new tools and techniques
  • Challenge future needs and ways of working within the Clinical Digital Systems and Digital Transformation area

 

It includes working closely with product managers, product owners, scrum masters, subject matter experts, and end users to understand the needs of the business, as well as with colleagues in Digital, Data & IT Development. Further, it involves maintaining strong connections with relevant software vendors.

 

Qualifications

To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:

  • Master's degree in Communication, Organisational Behaviour, Business Administration or another relevant field
  • At least 3 years’ experience in OCM with a proven track record driving change projects/ programmes, change communications, and developing and delivering training programmes to support change initiatives
  • In-depth understanding of organisational change management processes, methodologies and tools
  • Experience working agile and being used to working in an environment where change is a constant would be a great asset but not a pre-requisite
  • Background in the clinical domain is a plus
  • Fluency in written and oral English

 

As a person, you are positive and solution-oriented with a curious mindset and interest in organisational change management, communication, process optimization and IT system development. You have a holistic approach with flair for distinguishing need-to from nice-to, and you have an eye for simplification. You excel in communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. We expect you to take ownership, be structured, and can ensure an overview. You are comfortable with challenging and advising stakeholders and you can present complex matters in a clear and precise manner. Above all, you are proactive, have a strong drive and a desire to create real impact for the business.

Clinical Digital Systems area is part of the unit called Digital Transformation, Clinical Drug Development, where we are dedicated to leverage cutting-edge digital technology, data, and processes. We are 30+ dedicated colleagues who strive to transform, digitise, optimise, and drive the ways of working within clinical studies. This enables our many colleagues in HQ, in affiliates, as well as the investigators and site staff at sites around the world, to successfully meet future demands.

 

Novo Nordisk drives clinical trials in more than 55 countries worldwide and collaborates with 6,000+ sites at hospitals and clinics. Digitalisation is key if we want to succeed with this.
