Your new role

As a Medicines Availability Specialist, you will work at the intersection of supply chain, regulatory science, and stakeholder engagement to safeguard medicine availability. You will take ownership of complex initiatives and collaborate across functions to proactively manage supply risks and shortages.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the establishment of shortage prevention plans, including robust supply chain risk assessments
  • Investigating supply disruptions, shortages, and potential recalls to ensure timely mitigation actions
  • Leading the development of clear and effective shortage communication strategies
  • Managing cross-functional improvement projects to strengthen supply chain resilience
  • Advocate for appropriate regulatory requirements related to the supply chain

You will join the Medicines Availability & Supply team within RQC Science, Policy & Intelligence—a diverse team of specialists dedicated to safeguarding sustainable medicine availability. Together, we work across functions to address drug shortages, manage supply constraints, and engage proactively with health authorities and industry partners, ensuring patients receive the medicines they need.

 

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a complex and dynamic environment and is motivated by making a meaningful impact on patients.

 

To succeed in this role, you bring:

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field, with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a health authority
  • Strong expertise, preferably from Novo Nordisk, in pharmaceutical supply chains, including risk assessment and mitigation
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional projects and navigate complex stakeholder environments
  • Preferably experience with advocacy and engaging with regulatory authorities and contributing to audits or compliance activities
  • Excellent communication skills in English, combined with a collaborative and solution-oriented enterprise mindset

What we offer

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600 to 1,091,600 DKK (DK), corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

 

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
