Your new role
As a Medical Doctor within Clinical Development, Medical & Translational Science, Diabetes, you will be a key scientific and medical contributor across the drug development lifecycle. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to shape medical strategy and ensure high‑quality clinical execution.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving and supporting global clinical development programmes within diabetes
- Contributing to the design, execution and interpretation of pivotal clinical trials
- Providing medical and scientific input to regulatory interactions and submissions
- Ensuring patient safety through ongoing medical oversight of clinical trials
- Sharing scientific insights with external experts, investigators and the broader medical community

Your new department
You will join Medical & Translational Science Diabetes, a global, project‑centric organisation responsible for the planning and execution of clinical trials across the diabetes portfolio. The department plays a critical role in health authority interactions, regulatory documentation, safety updates and external scientific communication.
We collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across functions and geographies, as well as with external partners including regulatory authorities, key opinion leaders, scientific communities and market access institutions. The position is based in Søborg, Denmark, and on‑site presence is required.
Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, you bring both strong scientific expertise and the ability to work effectively in complex, global settings.
We expect that you have:
- An MD degree; a PhD or equivalent scientific qualification is an advantage
- At least 3 years of documented clinical and scientific experience, preferably within diabetes or metabolism
- Experience with clinical development in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage but not a requirement
- Solid understanding of the drug development lifecycle and regulatory interactions
- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and a collaborative mindset

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 847,000 to 1,245,100 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
