The position
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Head of Digital Data Stewardship, eager to manage complex digital health initiatives with a strong foundation in clinical data, technology, IT, and legal requirements for digital therapeutics. In this critical position, you will play a crucial role in advancing Novo Nordisk's digital health data capabilities while overseeing and coordinating complex digital data initiatives.

Your primary tasks will include:
- Lead and coordinate multifaceted digital health data projects to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and the highest quality standards.
- Collaborating closely with (business) stakeholders to gather their needs and translate those into actionable project plans.
- Defining and executing data strategies for e.g., digital products and digital health partnerships with the healthcare ecosystems.
- Managing and coordinating cross-functional teams including data scientists, data engineers, legal experts, and diverse business stakeholders.
- Work closely together with the data governance team to ensure standardization and harmonization of data initiatives.
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders to meet their needs and keep them informed about project progress.
- Offering strategic guidance and insights to senior management to enhance digital health data capabilities.
- You will be responsible for the daily operations of a small team of three (not line manager).
Please note that this role may expect approximately 10-15 travel days per year.
Qualifications
To excel and succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
- A master's or PhD degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. Candidates with backgrounds in epidemiology, public health, or similar are also encouraged to apply. The key aspect is your focus on data in developing digital health solutions and a solid understanding of technology.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in data science or similar, with a proven track record of executing successful data projects.
- Strong business acumen and the skills to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes effectively.
- Excellent at business development in the context of a pharma company including the development of business plans. Experience with regulatory frameworks related to health data and technology.
As a person, you have outstanding project management abilities and are capable of managing multiple simultaneous projects. Furthermore, you have great communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

In Søborg, Denmark, the Commercial DD&IT (Data, Digital & IT) division is a key enabler of rewiring, digitalisation, and scaling the commercial value chain. We augment the user experience of being a patient on a Novo Nordisk product through digital health products to maximize the benefits of our products for patients, healthcare professionals, and healthcare systems.
