The position
As Global Market Access Lead, you will develop value strategies and market access plans for key obesity products. You will function as matrix lead and collaborate with global functions, engaging with stakeholders across operations to deliver effective access strategies, payer value stories, and launch support.
Your responsibilities include driving global strategies for current and future assets, creating advanced health economic tools, and supporting local markets with HTA submissions, model adaptations, launch strategies, and value tools to align with obesity objectives. Strong collaboration, planning, and strategic thinking skills are essential.
Some other responsibilities will include:
- To act as the Market Access point of contact for specific Obesity assets, having an overall responsibility for the timely progression and follow-up on cross-functional access projects.
- Represent the Global Obesity& Market Access team in relevant governance teams (i.e. commercial teams, Global project teams etc.).
- Lead market access activities for key assets and ensure consideration and implementation of market access requirements into development plans across Obesity portfolio.
- Lead development of payer value communication materials and tools and support LCM activities
- Drive external payer engagement activities to inform, substantiate and drive our access approaches.
- Identify payer environment trends and their implications for access strategies within Obesity.
The position is based in Søborg, Denmark and it is a 12-month maternity cover.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the ideal person will bring:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Extensive market access experience (+5 years), both from strategic and operational market access roles, ideally within pharmaceutical industry and/or a consultancy company.
- High degree of business and industry insight, solid experience with setting the direction and the strategy in a complex and changing environment.
- Excellent communication and engagement skills.
- Fluency in oral and written English.
As a person you have strong commercial understanding and a high degree of ambition, personal drive and ability to work both independently as well as get things done collaboratively with pace. It comes natural for you to identify new and innovative approaches when driving projects and deliverables related to our assets.
About the department
Global Obesity& Market Access is part of Novo Nordisk’s Portfolio Strategy, Insights & Access (PIAS) Area and plays a key role in the commercial success of our obesity products. This position offers the chance to join an international, high-performing team based in Søborg, Denmark and the position is onsite. The Global Obesity& Market Access department develops global access strategies and leads payer direction, as well as pre-launch and launch activities for Novo Nordisk's obesity portfolio, working closely with regional teams.
