The position 

As a Global Insights Lead, you will play a vital role in developing our internally built digital health products within therapy areas such as diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular diseases. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Driving continuous product discovery and feedback and facilitating co-creation activities 
  • Conducting qualitative, mixed methods, and insights research with patients and healthcare professionals 
  • Analyzing and reporting research findings to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Providing support to UX'ers, designers, and product owners to incorporate insights into product development. 
  • Contributing to the collective knowledge repository in collaboration with researcher colleagues 
  • Ensuring all research is conducted ethically and in compliance with regulations 


Communication with internal stakeholders is crucial for the success of our projects and activities. You will collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders to define and guide the department's projects. Your ability to provide timely and relevant information to stakeholders and build professional relationships across the organization will be key to your success. This role offers a high degree of business impact, and adaptability will be required to maximize the outcome of the conducted research. Some travel approximately 15-25 days per year, is required. 
 
Qualifications  
To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:  

  • Master’s degree or higher in a social science field such as anthropology, ethnology, sociology, behavioral psychology, techno anthropology, or any similar field  
  • +7 years of experience and a solid understanding of applied qualitative research and user experience research (UX) 
  • Proven track record in collecting, analysing, and translating user insights into actionable recommendations  
  • Preferably, worked with the development of digital health products or created early insights that can be used to develop digital health product strategies   
  • Strong analytical and communication skills  
  • Experience with health as a research area: In the pharmaceutical- and/or health industry/sector and/or public innovation and/or consultancy 


On a personal level, we are looking for someone who is able to collaborate well in teams yet also self-driven and able to drive research projects and stakeholder management independently. The setup will vary from project to project. Also, you need to be flexible enough to easily adapt to changes, as our area is developing rapidly. 
 
About the department 
In Søborg, Denmark, the Commercial DD&IT (Data, Digital & IT) division is a key enabler of rewiring, digitalisation, and scaling the commercial value chain. We augment the user experience of being a patient on a Novo Nordisk product through digital health products to maximize the benefits of our products for patients, healthcare professionals, and healthcare systems.
