Your new role

As Global Associate Director Channel Marketing Obesity, you'll define how Novo Nordisk connects with people living with obesity and healthcare prescribers across traditional and emerging channels. In a rapidly evolving consumer-driven market, you'll set the strategic direction for both current launches and long-term growth, ensuring we meet people where they are.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and owning the global channel strategy for the obesity portfolio, including channel segmentation, prioritization and success metrics that drive engagement with people living with obesity and healthcare professionals
  • Leading critical elements of launch Core Promotional Packages, defining channel strategy, tactics and content for new product introductions
  • Acting as the strategic compass for channel marketing, providing direction and guidance to downstream markets and affiliates
  • Monitoring market trends and competitive dynamics to shape mid- and long-term channel roadmaps, understanding what drives market and channel performance
  • Serving as subject matter expert on channel marketing strategy for Strategic Marketing Obesity and cross-functional partners
  • Driving collaboration across Product & Portfolio Strategy, International Operations, US Operations and affiliate markets to ensure aligned execution
  • Providing strategic oversight and guidance to team members supporting these strategic initiatives

 

Your new department

In Product & Portfolio Strategy we drive commercial strategy, medical affairs and business development across all therapy areas. We act as a connector and compass, guiding the new Novo Nordisk portfolio for sustained competitiveness upstream, and maximising portfolio potential through successful commercial strategies and competitive launches downstream.

Within Strategic Marketing Obesity, you'll join a team at the forefront of one of healthcare's most dynamic and fast-growing markets. As obesity treatment evolves into a consumer-driven space, we're reimagining how we engage with people living with obesity—meeting them through digital platforms, telehealth providers, and innovative channels that didn't exist a few years ago. Your work will directly shape how millions of people access life-changing care.

  • Master’s degree in business or a science-related field (preferred) paired with 10+ years of marketing experience, with strong capabilities in strategic marketing and long-term planning in healthcare or related industries. Consumer goods/FMCG with strong eCommerce focus is highly preferred.
  • Deep expertise in consumer segmentation, engagement, and channel marketing, with experience in telehealth providers, digital health platforms, or similar evolving channels.
  • Proven ability to develop and clearly articulate end-to-end channel strategies that balance launch needs with long-term market growth.
  • Strong international marketing background, including experience navigating complex organizational landscapes and driving alignment across multiple markets.
  • High energy and agile mindset, with curiosity and ambition to drive change in how we reach patients;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
