The Position
As a project manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive our business cases with the line of business. We put information at the center of solving business cases and you will be responsible to ensure we do this. You will be engaged in complete project cycles, including idea generation, model development, and deployment throughout Chemistry, Manufacturing & Controls (CMC) departments.

 

Your main tasks could be: 
•    Collaborating with CMC business units to structure business challenges, using the skills of information modelling that you or the team possess. Using active listening as a skill to structure a problem.
•    Planning and driving information modelling projects, drive the engagement with business and our information modellers.
•    Drive the consumption and adoption of the models delivered in our active metadata management tool, support other systems to consume the required models delivered in the project.
•    Lead the work to update or build business applications solving business needs 
•    Support post project governance of the taxonomies and ontologies that line of business need to govern.

Qualifications

You have  a natural flair for information and we see you having the following qualifications: 
 

To succeed in this role, you have:  
•    A relevant degree
•    Solid project management experience
•    Knowledge of information modelling skills
•    Experience with IT system implementations 
•    Good communication skills in English

 

You are familiar with common large enterprise systems and how to integrate them. You have experience in working with and implementing governance frameworks, especially for metadata or master data. You have the ability to host and facilitate workshops.

You must have a desire to learn new things and able to demonstrate attention to details and structured in your problem-solving approach. It is very important to be proactive and have a ‘can do’ attitude, and a team player within a diverse group of colleagues.


About the Department

CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing & Control) Development & Scaling is the organization that ties research and manufacturing together. The position is anchored in the department Digital Strategy & Transformation, whose key mission is to execute strategic initiatives across CMC Development. You will join a diverse and international team consisting of about 10 colleagues with different backgrounds and expertise areas, but a shared passion for digital transformation. We are an ambitious and high-performing department that will support your personal and professional development.
