Your new role
We are expanding our team and seeking a GCP Specialist to enhance clinical quality and ensure Good Clinical Practice (GCP) compliance across asset integrations resulting from partnerships, in-licensing, and acquisitions.
This position is based within our Science, Policy & Intelligence (SP&I) Business Development department. Working closely with other functional areas, you will serve as the specialist on GCP and clinical quality, safeguarding patient safety, preserving data integrity, and promoting inspection-readiness during integration decisions, and transitions. Your role will support the efficient onboarding of acquired assets into the organization and contribute to process excellence throughout integration activities.
As a GCP Integration Specialist, you will collaborate closely with colleagues involved in partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, ensuring that clinical quality standards are upheld across all phases of integration.
Your main accountabilities will be:

Give practical GCP guidance so teams understand what “good” looks like and apply it sensibly in real situations.

Supporting the implementation of oversight set‑ups (e.g., sponsorship transitions, interim ways of working)

Be the daily driver for your integration activities. Organise, keep momentum, and finding solutions and ensuring regulatory compliance in the integration process.

Coordinate sequence of transition activities with key specialists (regulatory, clinical reporting, data, safety, IT) so process and system changes land smoothly.

Contribute to change control and risk management—spot risks early, propose actions, and track actions to closure.

Contribute to ensuring that Novo Nordisk is always GCP inspection‑ready working with acquisitions.

Harvest lessons learned and turn them into simple improvements to our procedures, templates, checklists, and training.
Your new department
The Regulatory, Quality & Clinical Reporting Business Development team is a team consisting of 6 dedicated team members. The team is a part of a newly established Science, Policy & Intelligence (SP&I) area at NN, an innovation engine that is bringing together external insights and internal expertise into strategic advantages for the wider organization. Specifically, the RQC Business Development team is involved integrating partnerships, mergers and acquisitions across therapeutic areas into Novo Nordisk with the ambition to secure a continuous competitive pipeline. Providing GCP expertise in the integration process is a key contribution from our team.
Your skills & qualifications
We are searching for a professional with positive and pragmatic approach to problem-solving and a strong desire to create, optimise, and simplify processes around .
To thrive and succeed in the role, we expect you to have:

A degree in pharmacy, medicine, nursing, science or a related field

At least 5 years of experience within clinical quality assurance or compliance, trial management, or GCP audits and regulatory inspections.

Solid experience in clinical research and drug development, with strong knowledge of GCP and other relevant regulations
-
Experience with asset integrations or partnerships is a strong plus.

Experience with process management, change management, electronic data handling, vendor management, or experience with small size pharmaceutical companies will be considered an advantage.

Fluent in written and verbal English
