The Position
In this role, your main responsibilities will include:
- Generating and leading special assignments within foundational patient insights with a cross-functional team in key therapeutic areas, which may include vendor management and support.
- Project management and regular reporting to senior management.
- Leading or chairing foundational insight project teams with Novo Nordisk members and, most likely, vendor members.
- Contributing to building the capacity of social science within Novo Nordisk.
- Participating in relevant internal forums and workstreams to provide advice and direction for special assignments across various therapy areas and patient populations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Disseminating knowledge and ensuring the adoption of foundational patient insight topics across the organization.
- Representing Novo Nordisk in external forums related to foundational patient insights in R&D.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- MSc in life sciences or a relevant field.
- Experience in patient-focused drug development and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with a deep understanding of patient engagement.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
- Ability to integrate patient insights into strategies and drive patient-centered initiatives.

You are organized, experienced in gathering user insights, and excel in cross-functional collaboration, all while being passionate about improving treatment offerings for people with chronic conditions.
About the Department
You will be part of the Patient Voice Strategy and Engagement team in Global Medical Affairs and will work in Søborg/Ørestaden, Denmark. We are a small team with the ambition to grow. We are responsible for leading and overseeing Novo Nordisk's efforts to put patients at the center of our operations and decision-making. We provide strategic input and operational excellence to ensure that Novo Nordisk is delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, continuously improving the patient experience.
