If you are a strategic thinker ready for driving the success of pipeline assets across the Rare Disease therapeutic area, ensuring robust forecasting and informed decision-making for long-term growth, you may be our next New Product Planning and Forecasting Associate Director.

 

Your new role
In this position you will drive the Target Product Profile (TPP) development for early as-sets within a specific therapeutical area and lead project valuations for major business opportunities. You will further conduct the long-term forecast (LTF) for the same thera-peutical area, ensuring senior management endorsement. 
More specifically, you will:
•    Develop sustainable product development strategies and challenge assumptions for new products 
•    Conduct project risk assessments and translate risks into actionable insights for valuations and portfolios.
•    Manage long-term forecasting (LTF) by gathering and challenging core assump-tions, preparing 10-year sales forecasts, and developing key scenarios.
•    Provide robust decision-making support to brands and senior management through insightful analyses and market scenarios.
•    Establish and maintain strong business partnerships with affiliates, regions, and key stakeholders.
•    Optimize and improve processes, ensuring best practices and clear documentation of deliverables.

 

Your new department
You will be joining the Commercial Excellence & Strategic Planning team, which is at the forefront of enabling the future success of Rare Disease. The department is dynamic and collaborative, with a strong focus on strategic impact and driving growth. Based in a fast-paced and inspiring environment, the team is dedicated to fostering a culture of excel-lence, accountability, and continuous improvement, ensuring that every team member can grow and make a difference. You will be part of a newly created team of four em-ployees split between Søborg and Zürich.

 

Your skills and qualifications
To be successful for this position you have ideally a scientific background, coupled with a minimum of 5 yrs of experience in New Product Planning (NPP), forecasting and analytics, within the pharmaceutical industry.
In addition, you have: 
•    Proven experience in product development, portfolio management, and life cycle management. 
•    Strong analytical skills, as well as ideally forecasting skills.
•    Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate future challenges and address them proactively. 
•    Strong collaboration and communication skills to build effective partnerships with stakeholders. 
•    A pragmatic and fact-based approach to decision-making
•    Fluent English, both written and spoken
