Director, HCP Engagements

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director to lead the HCP (Health Care Professional) Engagement area in Commercial Platforms & Architecture. The successful candidate will lead the department to partner with the commercial LoB globally (excluding US) to evolve the HCP Engagement ecosystem and ensure stable operations of systems and products in the portfolio.
Behind the title
As Director for HCP Engagement you will be the primary DD&IT (Digital, Data & IT) responsible for all matters related to HCP Engagement globally (excluding US).
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Unit leadership and people management of Denmark based team.
- Provide strategic leadership of the HCP Engagement ecosystem.
- Ownership of the HCP Engagement domain architecture.
- Ensure stable operations and accountability towards audits and inspection for all systems in the HCP Engagement ecosystem.
- Drive the program to define Novo Nordisk’ next generation customer engagement ecosystem globally (excluding US).
- Drive the transition to the future customer engagement ecosystem by 2029.
Qualifications
We expect the ideal candidate to have most of the following qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in commercial IT and customer engagement technology
- Proven track record of leadership and people management
- Experience in setting strategy for digital and IT processes across a function or entity
- Significant experience within Agile and ART management
- Experience working in and navigating large and complex organisations.
- You are ambitious about your role and career and interested in growing your skills.

Digitalisation of the commercial space in Novo Nordisk is at an inflection point with new platforms and technology enablers emerging across the business. You will report to the Head of Commercial Platforms & Architecture within the Commercial Digital, Data & IT (Commercial DD&IT) organisation in the global DD&IT unit based in Søborg, Denmark. You will lead your own department of ~10 colleagues delivering strategic, IT Products, IT projects, and architectural advisory in the HCP Engagement space.
