The position

As a Data & Al Governance Business Analyst, you will support critical work to enable accelerated use of data for Al activities in a compliant way. You will support gathering end-to-end requirements for high-priority Data & Al activities to enable efficient processes and fit-for-purpose technology support.

 

The role holder must demonstrate an excellent ability to communicate and analyse stakeholder needs for the use of Data & Al across a broad range of disciplines and have a passion for driving business value to customer groups.

 

Another core component of the role is to support driving improvement of the Data Access & Al Policy, including defining and monitoring performance against KPIs, conducting process improvements in response to additional scope, evolving external laws & regulations and internal data governance and access policies.

 

In performing this role, your work will enable efficient use of data for Al activities in compliance with external Data & Al laws and regulations, ensuring that our data scientists are accelerated in their Data Access and Al work, driving innovative science.

 

As a Data & AI Governance Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Developing and executing business analysis plans to drive the success of Data & AI projects.
  • AS-IS and TO-BE process mapping in response to additional scope, evolving external laws & regulations, and internal data governance and access policies.
  • End-to-end requirements gathering and assessment, including planning and running requirements analysis activities.
  • Monitoring Al projects to ensure internal stakeholders achieve desired outcomes, and plan tactical and strategic improvements based on output.
  • Support the establishment of an inventory of Al projects with documented Al risk assessment and appropriate meta-data to be inspection-ready.
  • Support with process & tech impact assessment for evolving external laws & regulations such as the EU AI Act.
  • Establish KPIs and monitoring/assurance approach for internal performance against evolving data governance and policies.
  • Support establishing best practices for the development of technical tools to ensure compliance with external requirements (e.g. EU AI Act).

***The position will be primarily based in Søborg with a possibility to work remotely from UK and Spain.***

 

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Hold a degree or equivalent in a scientific, technical or engineering discipline.
  • Have a track record of successful business change project work and business process modelling notation.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a business analyst.
  • Excel in requirements-gathering techniques with cross-functional stakeholders with the ability to structure and generate robust and testable requirements.
  • Experience in the Pharma industry is a significant advantage.
  • Experience working with data and AI related legislation and policy (e.g. GDPR, GCP, GxP, ) is an
  • advantage.
  • Industry-recognized qualifications in business analysis, e.g., BCS or IIBA, is an advantage.
