Your new role

As our new Clinical Data Manager, you will be responsible for wide range of work tasks, such as:

  • Coordinating and executing data management activities through trial planning, set-up, execution, and closure
  • Supervising and evaluating the data management processes throughout the life cycle of a clinical project
  • Working closely with colleagues in our global Data Management organization, as well as being an integral part of the clinicaltrial team – stakeholder management is an important part of the role
  • Acting as the bridge between our many stakeholders and the data management colleagues involved in your clinical trials with akey focus on clear communication

 

Being innovative and developing fit for purpose solutions, sharing your knowledge with peers and being an active partner in transformational activities is a key priority for our unit. This requires us to excel in our project leadership, our communication and it requires us to have a solid understanding of the data we collect in order to provide meaningful insights for our stakeholders.

 

Your new department       

The Clinical Pharmacology Unit – within Clinical Data Management & Programming in Novo Nordisk R&D – is covering all clinical pharmacology studies as well as non-interventional studies. Data Management in the unit is responsible for ensuring the integrity and timely flow of clinical trial data through the many systems we use for data collection for our clinical trials, conforming to regulatory requirements and industry-standards. We deliver high quality data for further analysis, reporting and submission and work with a wide range of stakeholders across the global Novo Nordisk organization.

Your skills & qualifications

We're seeking candidates who fulfil the following prerequisites:

  • You hold a MSc/BSc in IT, Natural or Life Sciences, or equivalent.
  • You have experience within clinical data management or equivalent.
  • You have a good understanding of data management processes, clinical data flow, GCP and regulatory requirements.
  • You have experience leading trials or projects in an international setting with increasing complexity.
  • You are fluent in English.
