CVP/QPPV Executive Assistant of Global Safety

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support the Corporate Vice President (CVP) of Global Safety. Do you thrive in providing excellent executive-level strategic support and are motivated by a dynamic, international environment? Then this might be the job for you. 

 

The position
The Executive Assistant will report directly to the Corporate Vice President of Global Safety (GS) and support him with management and strategy in Global Safety. You will drive and support Global Safety strategic initiatives; ensure that all management meetings and interactions are run efficiently; support the CVP with drafting presentations, follow-up on actions with a large number of stakeholders across both Global Safety and Submissions & Life Cycle Management. You will involve yourself in Global Safety processes, within the global organisation from the individual employee to high level management. The position is based in Søborg and as part of the position you will require to have interaction abroad and some travel around the globe to represent GS and NN.

You will act as sparring partner and executive assistant to CVP and QPPV of Global Safety but will also support and be a member of the Global Safety Management Team (GSMgmt). In this capacity, you keep track of agendas and run the meetings of this forum. You are also expected to organise and prepare GSMgmt processes, meetings and communication; some of this in collaboration with the HR Business Partner.  The Global Safety budget process is another important area where your assistance is required.

 

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we expect you to hold a Master’s degree.  A good scientific understanding is preferred, but not a demand, as long as you have a strategic business understanding, and are a fast learner. You have strong project management and stakeholder management skills and have experience working in pharma. You enjoy working across an organisation and interacting with different functional areas. Besides, you have experience with reporting and recommending solutions to management. Moreover, you have strong communication skills in English (verbally and in writing) and are highly skilled in Microsoft Office.

As a professional, you have strong organisational and proactive planning skills. You have a good sense of diplomacy whilst still assertive and able to ensure progress in a difficult stakeholder landscape.  Lastly, you have experience in interacting with key stakeholders, including working with senior management.

Global Safety has the overall responsibility for all global Patient Safety activities during product development and life cycle management worldwide - ensuring monitoring, evaluation and reporting of aggregate safety data for all NN development and marketed products throughout the products lifecycle.

We collaborate closely with a host of internal stakeholders both in headquarters and affiliates around the world. We are responsible for developing and executing robust global safety strategies for all projects and products within the Novo Nordisk portfolio.
