The Position

As the Associate HEOR Director you will be responsible for leading the strategic HEOR development and implementation for pivotal clinical trials, launch readiness and lifecycle management (LCM) activities in the obesity access team. You will lead activities to understand the future HEOR needs and opportunities and set a clear HEOR direction for the combined market access strategies as well as drive development of innovative and appropriate tools and techniques/training to effectively define and communicate the value of our products to the payers and society at large.

You will work closely with the market access matrix team and you will collaborate with other Global functions across the value chain. Further, you will engage proactively with the broader market access network of stakeholders in operations to deliver best in class HEOR strategies and to provide HEOR support during the different phases of the product lifecycle.

As an Associate HEOR Director at Novo Nordisk, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the development and implementation of HEOR strategies for both pipeline and lifecycle management (LCM) indications.
  • Represent the Obesity market access team in cross-functional project teams and governance to ensure HEOR input for key project decisions.
  • Lead evidence generation and demonstration to support HE model(s) development, economic evaluation, cost and health-related quality-of-life assessments and indirect treatment comparisons in collaboration with functional colleagues, external experts and/or vendors.
  • Substantiate the payer value story with credible and innovative HEOR evidence.
  • Support reimbursement and Health Technology Appraisal (HTA) submissions.

 

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, some key factors that will contribute to your success include:

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field.
  • Comprehensive years of experience in pharma or consultancy within health economics or outcomes research.
  • Proven success with health economic modeling and analysis of health outcomes data.
  • Strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods and data analysis.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
  • Familiarity with reimbursement/HTA processes across key markets.

 

To thrive in the job, you have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, strong commercial understanding and a high degree of ambition, personal drive and ability to work both independently as well as get things done collaboratively with pace. It comes natural for you to identify new and innovative approaches when driving projects and deliverables related to our assets. Finally, you have a master's degree and are fluent in English.

The Obesity Market Access department within Novo Nordisk is part of the Obesity Therapy Area and drives the Global market access strategies for our Obesity portfolio. The Obesity Market Access team sets the payer direction for Novo Nordisk’s future drug portfolio within Obesity as well as and drive pre-launch and launch activities in close collaboration with regions and affiliates.
