The position
As we scale digitalization efforts at Novo Nordisk, your expertise will be pivotal in enabling the efficient execution of clinical studies and expanding access to innovative medicines globally. As part of the Clinical Learning and Training team in the Clinical Operations Centre of Expertise, you'll initially collaborate full-time on COSMOS, our clinical study management system, and work in an agile team focused on organizational change management and user experience.
In this role, you will:
- Engage with colleagues and stakeholders to identify specific learning needs and deliver tailored training solutions that foster organizational success.
- Design, develop, and implement tangible, engaging, and user-friendly training materials for a global audience.
- Facilitate ‘Train-the-Trainer’ sessions and other initiatives to empower the global COSMOS trainer community, ensuring they are well-equipped to support end-users.
- Serve as the ‘go-to’ expert on training within the COSMOS agile product team, providing insights and guidance to enhance user proficiency in a complex stakeholder landscape.
Once you’ve completed your initial assignment with COSMOS, we expect you to:
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to assess training opportunities aligned with strategic development agendas.
- Craft comprehensive learning frameworks and journeys that prioritize end-user experience and meet global stakeholder expectations.
- Drive the measurement and evaluation of learning initiatives, leveraging data analytics to gauge the effectiveness and impact of training programs.
- Act as a strategic consultant and advisor to business leaders, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools necessary for optimal performance.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, we expect you to have:

A master’s or bachelor’s degree in human resources, educational sciences, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a learning & development capacity within a large, complex organization.
- Proven experience working in a complex work environment, ideally within the life sciences industry, particularly clinical operations or development, which would be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- A proven track record in designing, producing, and implementing digital learning solutions, including e-learning modules, training videos, and online sessions.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.

You excel at building positive and trusting relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders, and your natural curiosity helps you uncover significant learning objectives. You are comfortable challenging conventional approaches and can present complex concepts clearly and concisely.

The Clinical Learning and Training team is composed of 12 passionate learning professionals dedicated to developing and deploying effective learning solutions that support Novo Nordisk’s clinical operations globally. We focus on transforming processes and enabling colleagues, affiliates, and clinical site staff to meet future demands through the optimization and digitalization of clinical studies.
