The position
Novo Nordisk is scaling digitalisation to be able to conduct more clinical studies and reach more patients with our new innovative medicines all over the world.
As our new Training Professional, you will become a member of the Clinical Learning and Training-team in Clinical Operations Centre of Expertise. Initially, you will work full-time assigned to one of the digital products, the clinical study management system (COSMOS), and you will be part of an agile team working with OCM ad UX.
In this role, you will:
- Work with team colleagues and stakeholders to identify the learning needs of system end-users, in order to deliver optimal training solutions.
- Design, produce, and support the implementation of tangible, effective, and user-friendly training solutions for colleagues globally.
- Develop ‘Train-the-Trainer'-sessions and other relevant activities supporting and engaging the global COSMOS trainer community.
- In general, be the ‘go-to’-person regarding training to your colleagues in the COSMOS agile product team.
Once having completed the initial training assignment in COSMOS, you should expect to be involved in a diverse range of learning projects and activities, such as:
- Collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, assessing training opportunities in support of aspiring strategic development agendas.
- Developing learning frameworks and learning journeys that ensure a high level of end-user experience and meet stakeholder expectations across a global organisation.
- Driving the measurement and evaluation of learning initiatives, utilising data and analytics to assess the effectiveness and impact of learning programmes.
- Acting as a strategic partner and advisor to business leaders to ensure strong business performance.
Qualifications
To thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
- A master’s or bachelor’s degree in human resources, education science or another relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a learning & development role within a large and complex organisation.
- Experience within the life science industry, specifically in clinical operations or development, would be a great asset but not a requirement.
- A proven track record of successfully having designed, produced and implemented digital learning activities and effective performance support resources. Especially experience with producing e-learning, training videos, online training sessions will be a great asset.
- Fluency in written and oral English.

You are curious by nature and able to ask ‘the right questions’ to identify relevant learning objectives. You are comfortable with challenging and advising stakeholders and you can present complex matters in a clear and precise manner. Above all, you are proactive and have a strong drive and a desire to create real impact for the business.
About the department
Clinical Learning and Training is a team of 12 dedicated learning professionals that develop and deploy impactful learning solutions supporting Novo Nordisk globally across clinical operations. The team is part of Clinical Operations Centre of Expertise and the area Process Transformation & Digitalisation, where we are dedicated to enhancing and leveraging expertise and development across People, Processes and Technology. This is done via optimising, digitalising, and transforming the ways of working within clinical studies, enabling our many colleagues in headquarters, in affiliates, as well as the investigators and site staff at clinical sites around the world to successfully meet future demands.
Novo Nordisk drives clinical trials in more than 55 countries worldwide and collaborates with 6,000+ sites at hospitals and clinics. Digitalisation is key if we want to succeed with this.
