The Position

As a Medical Science Liaison – Social Media, you will act as a strategic scientific partner between Novo Nordisk and the medical community, especially digital medical influencers (DMIs), but also key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs) in general. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Establish strong scientific relationships with DMIs by sharing up-to-date, relevant, and high-quality medical information, while identifying opportunities for strategic partnerships in areas such as medical education, innovation, and clinical research.
  • Implement the scientific communication plan for key molecules and indications, tailoring format and language to audience needs and leading scientific events (1:1s, round tables, local initiatives).
  • Capture valuable insights—both spontaneous and structured—from DMIs to support internal decision-making, contributing directly to brand strategies and identifying unmet needs.
  • Collaborate on local evidence generation projects and publications, support clinical research teams with investigator recommendations and site engagement, and strategically leverage global data encores locally.
  • Support the medical community in shaping clinical care pathways by interacting with KOLs, medical societies, and institutions to broaden diagnosis, treatment protocols, and disease awareness.

 

Qualifications

  • Medical degree with an active license (CRM); specialisation or clinical experience in the therapeutic area is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, with strong skills in critical reading, scientific data interpretation, and communication.
  • Availability to travel up to 50% of the time, including frequent travel outside your home base.
  • Familiarity with the digital medical influencer environment and social media (particularly Instagram).
  • Experience as a content creator or social media influencer is an highly desirable.
