Your new role
As Internal Controls Coordinator, you'll manage the complete portfolio of audit and internal control projects across Latin America, ensuring robust governance and risk management practices. You'll be the driving force behind control optimization and standardization, presenting to stakeholders across the region and acting as a strategic business partner.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and coordinating internal control and audit projects across 10 Latin American countries, establishing audit scope and test procedures

Leading the preparation, review, and monthly submission of Internal Controls, ensuring timely completion and accuracy

Optimizing and standardizing Internal Controls frameworks across LATAM to drive consistency and excellence

Conducting risk analysis, impact assessments, and developing mitigation plans to address identified vulnerabilities

Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders across Latin America, demonstrating control failures and improvement action plans

Collaborating with internal and external auditors, ensuring global and local procedures are properly applied

Monitoring and validating action plans to address audit findings, working with process owners to resolve root causes

Delivering Internal Controls training to stakeholders, building capability across the organization

Performing process mapping, flowchart design, and executing Internal Controls testing

Supporting SAP user access evaluation and GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) processes

Actively participating in global Internal Controls meetings and the Internal Forum to ensure risk monitoring

Hybrid work arrangement (3-4 days per week in the office).

As part of the LATAM Finance team, you'll work within a dynamic environment covering 10 countries across the region. This role sits at the intersection of governance, audit, and business partnership – ensuring we maintain the highest standards of internal controls while enabling the business to operate effectively and ethically across Latin America.
Your skills and qualifications
We're looking for an experienced professional with strong internal controls and audit expertise who thrives in a multi-country environment. You'll bring:

Minimum 5 years of experience in Internal Controls, Accounting, and/or Audit (mandatory)

Fluent English for presentations and leading cross-country stakeholder engagement (mandatory)

Strong expertise in internal controls frameworks and audit methodologies within LATAM context

Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation purposes (mandatory)

Excellent presentation and communication skills with the confidence to lead discussions across diverse audiences

Experience with SAP systems (desirable but not mandatory)

Spanish language skills (desirable)

Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to identify risks and control gaps

Ability to work collaboratively as a business partner while maintaining independence and objectivity
