Your new role

As a Clinical Trials Contracts and Budget Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the execution, support, and optimization of processes related to contracts and budgets in the Clinical Trials Department. Some of your main responsibilities will be:

 

• Ensure investigators payments are timely and follow contract requirements and compliance rules.
• Ensure proper planning and review of the department budget as well as the clinical trial budget.
• Participation in budget negotiation - Negotiate trial budgets with sites.
• Responsible for the contract process for all trials, through contracts system (COUPA) from the creation until signature.

• Responsible for preparing, negotiating, tracking and finalizing the Clinical Trial Agreements (CTA) as well as amendments to this document, as needed.
• Create trial-specific Purchase Orders (POs).
• Elaborates and maintain updated clinical trial agreement (CTA) templates on CDC, as well as any other documents for ex: Amendments, Communication Letters, etc.

 

Your new department

You will be part of the Clinical, Medical and Regulatory Affairs team at Novo Nordisk. This team is responsible for running all clinical development activities, from initial planning of clinical trials to authority submission. Our department provides resources, processes, and competences in biostatistics, clinical reporting, data management, epidemiology, and clinical pharmacology. We also support trial execution by aligning processes, optimising competencies, and sharing knowledge.

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who possesses:

  • Degrees include, among others: Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, and Law.
  • English – Advanced level.
  • Solid experience in administrative area or working with trial contracts.
  • Data analysis capability (use/create dashboards).
  • Comprehensive IT skills including digital tools, systems and apps would be a differential.
  • Experience with payments and budgeting is a nice-to-have.
