Your new role  

As a Clinical Medical Manager, you'll deliver industry-leading clinical trial excellence through scientific insights, trusted partnerships, and innovation. Working at the intersection of product development and clinical trial execution, you'll be the scientific voice that connects global research with local expertise across Brazil. 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

• Partnering with Clinical Operations on scientific and medical aspects of trial planning, start-up, recruitment, and retention – providing subject matter expertise on products and protocols 

• Leading investigator selection and engagement with key opinion leaders to optimize trial methodologies, mitigate recruitment challenges, and build long-term relationships that extend beyond the trial 

• Gathering, analyzing, and communicating actionable scientific insights throughout the lifecycle of assigned clinical trials to enhance outcomes and inform product development 

• Providing early medical and scientific input into product development by incorporating the voices of clinicians and patients, identifying potential challenges proactively 

• Establishing Novo Nordisk's presence in new and current therapy areas by effectively communicating our pipeline and scientific narrative to external stakeholders 

• Serving as the local scientific expert on products and protocols, quickly resolving medical queries from site staff and ensuring investigators are well-versed before first patient enrollment 

• Co-designing and deploying scientific knowledge-building initiatives for Clinical Operations teams on therapy areas, products, and protocols 

• Continuously exchanging insights with Medical Affairs colleagues and introducing them to KOLs in new therapy areas, especially during pre-launch phases 

Your new department  

In Product & Portfolio Strategy we drive commercial strategy, medical affairs and business development across all therapy areas. We act as a connector and compass, guiding the new Novo Nordisk portfolio for sustained competitiveness. 

Within Product & Portfolio Strategy, the Clinical Medical Management team plays a unique role in connecting product development with world-class clinical trial execution and successful product launches. You'll work in close partnership with Clinical Operations and Medical & Scientific Affairs teams across Brazil, bringing scientific rigor and medical expertise to every stage of the clinical development journey. This is where scientific insight meets strategic impact. 

Your skills & qualifications 

We're looking for a scientifically rigorous professional with both clinical expertise and business acumen who can build bridges between research, clinical practice, and commercial success. You'll need: 

• MD, MSc, or PhD in healthcare with a strong background in clinical practice or research 

• 3+ years of experience in clinical or medical roles within the pharmaceutical industry 

• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical drug development, the value chain, and ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory requirements, and clinical trial methodology 

• An enterprise mindset that demonstrates business understanding, prioritizes the organization's overall success, and promotes cross-functional collaboration 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels 

• Strong business acumen with understanding of business operations, financial drivers, and market dynamics 

• Ability to creatively solve complex problems, drive practical solutions, and embrace innovation and continuous improvement 

• Willingness to leverage technology such as AI tools and adopt a data-driven approach in all aspects of work
