The Position

As Commercial Excellence Specialist, you will contribute to improve the life of millions of people living with diabetes, haemophilia, growth disorders and obesity. With your job you will be supporting the commercial success of the business areas in the Italian affiliate by defining, implementing and monitoring the relevant Field Force Effectiveness roadmap.

 

In your daily working life, you will:

 

  • Implement local Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) performance monitoring dashboards and provide detailed analyses for sales results and field activities with effectively prepared regular reports to business lines and departments
  • Implement the designed incentive schemes, manage the target setting process and monitor its impact on the business
  • Participate in territory alignment, sales force sizing, segmentation & targeting projects
  • Design standardized SFE systems, tools, analytics, performance dashboards and quantitative and qualitative KPIs for Field Forces.
  • Support the management of CRM system and further leverage it to support business development

Furthermore, this role will allow you to manage several stakeholders providing support to sales, marketing and market access.

You are at ease in a matrix organization and in cross functional collaboration, since you will cooperate effectively and constantly with the Accounting, Business Information, Supply Chain and Purchasing functions.

Finally, this role entitles acting as a change agent, fostering simplicity and efficiency.

The position is based in Rome, Italy, and reporting to the Commercial Excellence Manager within the Customer Engagement department.

 

Qualifications

We are looking for someone that has advanced analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to perform data analysis & interpretation and manage data complexity. Attention to detail and quality are also key to a good performance.

 

In order to succeed in this role, you have:

 

  • Master’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Statistics or relevant related fields
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in related fields of pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability to look for process improvements and foster innovation
  • Strong tools&system capabilities and mindset, project management attitude and pragmatic approach
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Italian

 

On a personal level you have excellent interpersonal skills, able to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and work in a cross-functional environment.

 

About The Department

The Customer Engagement team works to bring the patient and customer voice into the development of commercial strategies. Collaborating closely with all business frontline functions (Sales Force, Marketing and Medical) it’s the leader of the transformational journey that Novo Nordisk had started to change and innovate the customer engagement model with Healthcare Professionals, thanks to deep customer and business insights, events and digital marketing enablement.
