Your new role 

As a Business Finance Partner, you will be working as dedicated finance partner to our Obesity BU, combining strong data and analytical skills with commercial instincts. You will partner closely with commercial leadership to turn data analysis into decisions that accelerate growth, define channel strategy and execution, and prioritize investments to maximize ROI. You will own forecasting, business cases, pricing support, performance management and resource allocation. Your insights will directly influence strategic choices and commercial outcomes in a high-growth environment.  

 

In more details, you will: 

  • Serve as finance partner to the Obesity BU; translate financials into actionable commercial recommendations. 

  • Build driver-based forecasts, scenario and sensitivity models to support planning and rapid decisions. 

  • Develop financial business cases for launches, pricing, reimbursement and commercial initiatives. 

  • Design KPIs and dashboards; perform advanced data analysis to identify trends and opportunities. 

  • Support pricing, tenders and reimbursement with robust modelling. 

  • Lead monthly performance reviews and ad-hoc deep dives; drive accountability. 

  • Advice on resource allocation to maximize ROI and align with commercial objectives. 

  • Present insights to the BU and senior management. 

 

You will also perform finance controlling and ensure that budget in relation to annual cost is kept. Among your responsibilities, you will handle strictly confidential data regarding our strategy and support the Directors to ensure they have the needed funding to operate. Moreover, you will regularly connect with global finance colleagues to identify local improvement opportunities in our ways of working.

The position is based in Rome and you will have exposure to global stakeholders as well. 

 

 

 

 

Your skills & qualifications   

What we are looking for: 

  • Strong analytical skills; advanced Excel modelling and experience with driver-based/scenario models. 

  • Commercial mindset with the ability to communicate trade-offs clearly. 

  • Hands-on with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and SQL or equivalent. 

  • Proven track record partnering with commercial teams. 

  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills. 

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and moving at pace in a high-growth unit. 

  • Degree in Finance/Economics/Business (CFA/ACCA/CPA a plus) and 3–6 years’ commercial finance experience. 

  • Fluency in English and Italian
