The Position                                                                                                                                                         

Your primary responsibility is to link the people agenda with the business ambition and strategy and collaborate closely with our senior leadership team in Saudi Arabia. You need to be aware of the business and align our People and Organization (P&O) strategies with the organization's objectives. This position will report to the Corporate Vice President (CVP), Saudi Arabia. You will manage a team of 7 directly.

 

You will act as a change agent, driving, communicating, and initiating the relevant changes needed to move the business forward. You will handle high-level complex projects, which require an ability to focus on business ethics and compliance.

Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  

  • Align, develop, and execute P&O strategies to aid our business goals and address the unique challenges of Saudi Arabia and partner closely with senior leaders to provide guidance on organizational design, performance management, employee engagement and talent development.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee development and overall engagement, employee well-being, fostering a culture of continuous improvement with a strong focus on Novo Nordisk Way.
  • Set direction and execution on frontline leadership and capability development and share best practices and facilitate knowledge exchange with a specific focus on Diversity & Inclusion (D&I).
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the affiliate management team, fostering their growth and development. You will additionally act as a sparring partner within the P&O space to the Corporate Vice President Saudi and challenge the status quo in a constructive and reverent manner.

 

Qualifications

  • Ideally, 10+ years of experience within human resources, with strong people management exposure.
  • Experience in managing an affiliate is preferable. Knowledge of Organisational Development & design in Saudi is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English is must to have and ability to grasp local culture and/or experience is considered an advantage.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into effective P&O strategies and initiatives. Strong leadership skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, matching transformation speed for new launch prospective.
