Payer Evidence Generation & Pricing Manager
International Operations

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Shape the evidence and pricing strategies that bring life-changing treatments to millions of patients across Saudi Arabia – from pipeline to market entry.

Your new role

As Payer Evidence Generation & Pricing Manager, you will lead the development and execution of pre-launch market access, evidence generation, and pricing strategies for new product launches across the Novo Nordisk portfolio in Saudi Arabia. You will be at the center of launch readiness – translating complex healthcare landscapes into actionable strategies that secure sustainable patient access.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading evidence generation planning by identifying evidence gaps and designing HEOR initiatives including different health economic models – to support payer decision-making.
  • Developing and recommending launch pricing strategies by assessing market dynamics, competitor activity, reimbursement environments, affordability considerations, and access barriers.
  • Mapping and engaging public and private payers, reimbursement bodies, and provider stakeholders to understand access requirements and translate insights into actionable launch strategies.
  • Creating evidence-based value propositions and materials that articulate the clinical, economic, and healthcare system value of new launches for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partnering cross-functionally with Medical, Regulatory, Commercial, Finance, and Market Access teams to drive launch readiness through clear coordination, milestone tracking, and risk mitigation.
  • Supporting the preparation of price business cases, reimbursement submissions, and related market access documentation aligned with Novo Nordisk business needs and local payer requirements.
  • Monitoring changes in healthcare policy, HTA developments, and pricing regulations to proactively assess implications for launch planning and recommend strategic actions.

Your new department

As part of International Operations, you will join our largest operational unit. Covering 194 countries and 95% of the world's population, more than 18,000 of us work passionately to serve 35 million patients each day. With a promise to outperform the competition, we continue to be the growth driver for Novo Nordisk, and to improve health at scale across the globe.

Within International Operations, you will be part of the Market Access and Health Economics team in Saudi Arabia, reporting to the Associate Director Market Access and Health Economics. This team is responsible for ensuring that new and existing Novo Nordisk products achieve optimal access and reimbursement outcomes – working at the intersection of evidence, pricing, policy, and payer engagement to bring treatments to the patients who need them.

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, pre-launch environment and can connect the dots between evidence, pricing, and access strategy. You will bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Health Economics, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related discipline; an advanced degree (MSc, MBA, PharmD, or PhD) is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in market access, pricing, reimbursement, HEOR, or evidence generation within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting or leading pre-launch planning, pricing strategy, reimbursement readiness, or payer-facing evidence development for new products.
  • Strong understanding of Saudi Arabia's healthcare system, HTA and reimbursement processes, and the use of clinical, economic, and real-world evidence in access decision-making.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around launch priorities and communicate value clearly using evidence-based arguments.
  • Experience managing external agencies, vendors, or research partners is preferred.
