In this role, you’re not just advising on cardiometabolic science — you’re shaping how it reaches patients. You’ll bring medical insight, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration together to drive impact where it matters most.

 

Your new role

As Medical Advisor for Cardiometabolic, you will play a critical role in advancing our scientific communication strategy and disseminating key insights to relevant stakeholders, building new relationships and transform the way medical professionals talk about and treat cardiometabolic disorders.

 

You will be our therapeutic area & pipeline expert and a leading partner in the generation, interpretation, and communication of medical and scientific data among internal and external stakeholders (KOLs, HCPs and other influencers). Moreover, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Moroccan affiliate is equipped and trained to deliver the best possible scientific interactions with the external scientific community.

 

As part of your key responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical education and training to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to equip them with the latest knowledge in cardiometabolic diseases.
  • Provide comprehensive medical leadership to support brand strategies and national business planning by identifying and delivering impactful medical projects, guiding KOL engagement and advisory activities, translating strategic imperatives into actionable business plans.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships and networks with national Healthcare Professional Associations and key stakeholders, collaborating on mutual goals and initiatives to support informed decision-making that benefits both Novo Nordisk and society.
  • Demonstrate the clinical outcomes, benefits, and efficacy of company products by presenting data to thought leaders and key stakeholders, communicating value to health systems and regulatory bodies, and ensuring proper rollout of communication packages during product recalls.
  • Drive evidence generation and publication by identifying research gaps, supporting clinical and outcomes study operations, and facilitating the publication of local data in alignment with Novo Nordisk principles and policies.

Your skills & qualifications

You are either a Medical Doctor or hold a Bachelor’s degree within Life Sciences. You have solid experience in the pharmaceutical industry gained from a similar role. Additionally, we would expect:

 

  • Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Understanding of the specificities and nuances of the Moroccan local healthcare infrastructure gained from experience.
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Strong knowledge and/or experience in cardiometabolic therapeutic area is beneficial.
