The position
As a Commercial Account Manager, you will:

Manage key accounts through comprehensive account planning, supply assurance, demand forecasting, stock rotation, replacements, and oversight of full commercial operations.

Identify new commercial opportunities and innovative business models through current and emerging pharmacy channels.

Drive the commercial execution of the institutional business.

Lead negotiation and execution of commercial contracts and agreements, including pricing, discount structures, conditions, credit notes, and compliance with commercial policies.

Monitor and analyse pharmaceutical market trends, competitor activity, customer demand changes, and regulatory updates across assigned countries.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Regulatory, Legal, Quality, Marketing, and Access teams to ensure integrated and effective account management.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

5 years of experience in sales, negotiation, distributor management, inventory management, forecasting, and the S&OP process.

Strong understanding of private pharmaceutical markets, ideally with experience in OTC companies, pharmacy chains or distributors.

Understanding of institutional business dynamics and processes.

Excellent knowledge of the Ecuador pharmaceutical market; experience in other Latin American markets is a strong plus.

Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive and process-oriented mindset, initiative, analytical thinking (especially in Excel), and the ability to work cross-functionally in complex environments; excellent communication skills required; English proficiency is a plus but not mandatory.
