Your New Role
As our Business Finance Partner apprentice, you will be a critical member of the Business Finance team in all the key financial processes including planning, budgeting, reporting and analysis. This apprenticeship ideally will start in January 2026 and last for ideally two years. In more details, the role entails :
- Support the team on the regular cost controlling and reporting process, and together with the Finance Business Partners run regular meetings with stakeholders to ensure timely and effective communication of the development of the costs.
- Support the team on the key reporting processes, with the goal of being able to independently drive / coordinate one or two of the process(es).
- Act as a key Finance Business Partner to 1-2 non-sales department(s), providing up-to-date business analysis, insights, and decision-making support to the France leadership team.
- Contribute to our digitalization journey through developing and maintaining automated tools and presentations for sales, costs and market share forecasting and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Novo Nordisk systems and policies and ensure solid financial operations through timely and high-quality management reporting.
Your New Department
You will be part of our Finance & Operations department and join our Business Finance team composing of four members. Each member acts as the Finance Business Partner of different business units or departments, as well as being the process lead of our key financial processes. We are a well-diversified and international team (from China, Belgium, India, Algeria).
Your Qualifications:
To excel in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- A Master’s study in Finance, Economy, Business, or other relevant areas.
- Previous experience in financial planning and/or business analysis is preferred. Ideally, you have already worked within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Self-motivated, curious and diligent with good analytical skills.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; French language proficiency would be considered a plus.
- Advanced-level knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is required. Knowledge of digital tools e.g. PowerBI is a plus.
