The Position

As a Digital Specialist (we call it Multichannel Specialist) in the Multichannel Customer Engagement department, you will help our marketing and medical colleagues to find new digital ways to engage our customers.


Your main accountabilities will be:

  • Participating in all marketing activities of the departments, engage in the usual routine (preparation of promotional campaigns, advertising, iPad applications, seminars, symposia, educational materials, email campaigns etc.).
  • Bringing inspiration and trends from the field of digital marketing.
  • Collaborating across international teams.
  • Administration of projects.

In this role, you will report to Multichannel Customer Engagement Project Manager, Czech Republic.



To be successful in this role, it would be ideal if you had background in digital marketing. Or background in medicine/life science with interest in digital marketing.

You can be a university student, a graduate, a mother looking to start working again for 50% part time. We are looking for a passionate individual who can support and contribute and will perceive the role as an opportunity that opens doors in the pharmaceutical industry. The contract is currently for 1 year (maternity cover).


To be effective in this role, we need you to have:

  • Excellent Czech (native speaker) – ability to work well with text and good English (spoken and written).
  • Serious interest in professional development in the field of marketing of a pharmaceutical company.
  • Very good communication skills, active approach to work, ability to work in a team, helpfulness, willingness, creativity, and diligence.
  • Ability to work with data (analytical thinking). Very good computer skills (e.g., MS Office). Experience with social media, etc.
  • Previous experience with project work is an advantage, but it is not required. Experience with web development/administration is an advantage.


As a person, you are willing and interested in learning new things and working on your own development. You have a sense of humour and positive thinking (finding solutions to problems).

Basic facts about Novo Nordisk in the Czech Republic: The Czech branch employs about 79 people, antidiabetics represent about 80% of the company's turnover, most of the DIA portfolio consists of various types of insulin as well as injectable non-insulin preparations for diabetes treatment and aids for their application.
